Old Mill Stream Inn in Saint Charles

The customer service here was great. There was a pretty extensive list of beer to choose from. room outside to keep a nice distance form others.

This is my favorite place to eat. The patio is gorgeous, the food-delicious, and the people are friendly.

A very cozy laid back environment they have multiple levels dinjngvin the upper and a lower bar section they are known for having hundreds of beer varieties. And a huge outdoor patio with heated fire pit when cold

It was our first time at this restaurant in Old St. Charles and we were pleasantly surprised. We opted for the prime rib last evening and it was very, very, good. The flavor of the meat and the way it was cooked, along with the sides of green beans, red potatoes, and garden salad turned out to be an excellent choice for a spur-of-the-moment decision... Will definitely go back, the atmosphere was quaint and friendly and our server was very helpful with menu choices, not to mention very pleasant and they do have an excellent choice of alcoholic beverages available.

My review is based on service only because I've never received my food. I understand that they may have been understaffed, bad day, or whatever BUT there was absolutely no excuse for the lack of service. We were seated and our order was taken. We waited and waited. We sat there over an hour the waitress never came back. We did go track her down to ask how much longer. That is when she said that they had not started it yet. No apologies just an excuse that their kitchen is small. Well then stop seating people if you can't handle your current business.

Full of warmth, character, and outstanding food and service.My wife and I came here after a disaster at the next door Trailhead where we never got our food. We know to come straight here from now on.We entered Old Mill hungry and frustrated and left full and laughing. The service was immediate and kind. The fish and chips may genuinely be the best I've had. They have a great cocktails menu that we didn't order off of but plan to when we return.It's cozy, pleasant, and a great place to have an excellent meal with those you love that you'll remember. My wife and I will certainly remember our night out because of Old Mill Stream. I can't recommend it enough.

The outside patio, next to the brick building next to a running stream, with brick floor-- nice, very nice. So great place for a cool drink in the summer. The downstairs bar -looks- good in the photos, but gotta tell you, it's a little grimy. But perhaps that's what their clientele like. Draws a good crowd.

This place had a nice atmosphere for my friend's memorial gathering this evening.

Came early today to get a bite to eat before shopping. Being a non smoker this place turned me off the minute I stepped inside. Stale smoke smell was in air. Not for me no way I could enjoy a meal here. Place was nicely decorated.

Good food friendly service. Lots of beer choices. Would be great place to hang out especially if weather allows for patio seating.

We love millstream especially the soup. But we tried to go there for dinner on 3/4/20 during open hours and it was shut down, lights were off no private party, closed up. If they've gone out of business or shut down by health dept or something they need to put up a sign alerting people. Sad to see this place shut down.
